- The agreement includes a new transfer of two additional solar projects in Soria totaling 87MW
- These two projects are in addition to the 191MW already transferred to Bruc Energy during the last months
- Opdenergy expects to reach 372MW transferred soon through a new 94MW plant to be transferred soon and continues to make good progress on the different milestones of the agreement to fully transfer the assets during fiscal year 2022 and 2023
Madrid, October 27, 2022. Opdenergy, an independent renewable energy producer, has signed with Bruc Energy the transfer of two new additional solar PV projects with a total capacity of 87MW located in the town of Trevago, Soria. The transfer of the plants takes place after obtaining a favorable environmental permit. This latest transaction is part of the agreement signed by Bruc Energy in August 2021, which includes the sale of a portfolio of 20 projects with a total capacity of 1,101MW located in different parts of Spain.
These 87MW transferred are in addition to the 191MW formalized to date, bringing the total to 278MW already transferred after obtaining the favorable environmental permit.
In addition to these 278MW transferred, Opdenergy has received the favorable environmental permit for an additional 94MW and has initiated the relevant procedures prior to the transfer to Bruc Energy. This will allow it to reach 372MW transferred in the coming months.
The company continues to make good progress on the different milestones of the agreement to transfer the totality of the assets during the 2022 and 2023 fiscal years.
