Madrid, 17 th February 2021. Opdenergy, the Independent Power Producer (IPP) with extensive experience in the development, financing, construction and operation of renewable assets, has obtained three ISO certifications by successfully passing the process of adopting the systems of Quality Management (ISO 9001:2015), Environmental Management (ISO 14001:2015) and Occupational Health and Safety Management (ISO 45001:2018). The certifications include the production of energy assets and management of all its phases: development, financing, construction, operation and maintenance.
Specifically, the ISO 9001:2015 certification confirms that the company has the necessary resources in place to provide products and services, while offering additional benefits for increased customer satisfaction. Obtaining ISO 14001:2015 certification highlights Opdenergy’s contribution to the development of environmental sustainability initiatives and pollution prevention. Finally, the measures carried out by Opdenergy in Occupational Health and Safety Management, focused on risk control, have helped it to also achieve ISO 45001:2018 certification, a diploma that is based on providing safe and healthy workplaces, which fulfil all injury prevention standards and help reduce health deterioration.
These three standards provide a framework for establishing a set of policies, objectives and processes designed to standardise management and improve the organisation’s performance, achieving the expected results and ensuring that applicable requirements can be achieved.
