What are we looking for?
A Tax Specialist based in Madrid or Sevilla who will carry out the following functions:
- Providing advice and support in analyzing the tax implications of initiatives and projects to be developed, as well as strategic and operational decisions.
- Reviewing and coordinating Opdenergy’s tax compliance.
- Supporting the Financial Department with the CIT provision and tax accounting entries.
- Providing day-to-day tax advice and support to various business areas of the company (Finance, Legal, Construction, Engineering, etc.) and other stakeholders on any tax matter.
- Managing notifications and participating in communications with the Tax Authorities in any kind of administrative proceedings. Providing support and coordination in the event of a tax audit.
- Dealing and contacting with local tax advisors whenever their support and/or advice is required.
- Assisting, coordinating, and reviewing the Transfer Pricing Documentation elaboration process.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Law, Business Administration, Finance or Economics.
- At least 2 years of experience. Big4, Engineering or Law firm will be considered.
- Advance knowledge on taxation, direct and indirect taxes, and accounting.
- Transfer Pricing knowledge will be taken into consideration.
- Fluent English spoken and written proficiency.
- MS Office package proficiency, especially Excel. Knowledge of SAP would be a plus.
