Opdenergy is a growing independent renewable energy producer (IPP) with presence in Europe, United States and Latin America with more than 19 years’ experience. The company develops, builds, finances, manages and operates high quality renewable energy projects in several countries, with a portfolio of 2,6 GW (1,3 operational and + 1,3 ready to build / under construction) assets in operations and construction, whole portfolio under development sums up to over 18 GW.
We are looking for a General Ledger Accountant in Madrid to give support to our projects in Spain.
What will you help with?
- Calculation and accounting of financial transactions, loans, swaps, etc.
- Accounting and analysis of the progress of work on projects under construction.
- Recording of accruals of operating income and expenses.
- Review and reconciliation of intercompany balances.
- Accounting reconciliations.
Who you are:
- FP in Administration and Finance or similar.
- Based in Madrid or Sevilla.
- Experience in similar positions.
- Experience in the renewable energies sector will be highly valued.
- Good command of the Office package — Advanced Excel.
- Knowledge of SAP will be favorable.
- Good English skills will be a plus.
