Madrid, December 3, 2025. Opdenergy, an independent renewable energy producer, has joined Forética as a new collaborating member, reaffirming its commitment to ethical and responsible management aligned with environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles.

With this adhesion, Opdenergy takes another step forward in the development of its sustainability strategy, as outlined in its 2025 Sustainability Master Plan, which focuses on combating climate change, supporting local employment, promoting a low-carbon economy, and upholding strong ethical and good-governance standards.

At Opdenergy, we have been working for some time to advance the implementation of a sustainability strategy that is reflected in our Sustainability Master Plan. Our investments are primarily focused on the use of renewable sources to promote a low-carbon economy, supporting local employment and integration, and maintaining strong ethical values,” stated Luis Cid, CEO of Opdenergy.

As renewable energy producers, the responsibility to fight climate change and lead the energy transition is in our DNA, which is why we place environmental sustainability at the center of our strategy, fully aligned with our corporate mission and vision.”
