What are we looking for? A Wind Resource Engineer whose functions will be, among others, the following:
- Prospecting, site selection, analysis and use of Mesoscale products.
- Measurement Campaign Design: location of measurement towers and tower configuration.
- Meteorological Towers Management: Coordination and management of tower maintenance subcontracts, scheduling of maintenance plans and statistical analysis of wind data.
- Design and Optimization of wind farms: Elaboration of layouts, micrositting, CFD modeling, technology and machine selection, noise and flickering studies.
- Site Energy Assessment: Production reporting, uncertainty assessment, loss calculation, site verification (IEC61400-1).
- Technical Feasibility Analysis and Collaboration with the financial department in technical Due Diligence. Liaison with independent consultants.
- Liaison with wind turbine manufacturers: request for power curves and updated information on available technology, site validation, site calibration and wind turbine power curve testing (IEC61400-12).
- Production monitoring, performance studies and power curve compliance.
- Project engineering review in coordination with project managers.
- Participation of periodic coordination meetings.

Requirements:
- University education in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, degree in physical sciences or similar. Master's degree in Renewable Energies is a plus.
- Experience 2 years performing the functions described.
- Good command of Office package. Especially Excel.
- Good command of AutoCAD/Arc GIS, WAsP, Windographer, Windfarmer and/or other wind industry specific software. Good knowledge of Meteodyn or similar CFD.
- High level of English (C1). Knowledge of Italian is desirable.
